“Thanks for a job well done,” doesn’t say enough when speaking about Eddie Miller, his wife Helen and their children Dan, Jerry, Ken and Allen. For over forty years the Miller Family was one of the mainstays of the founders of the legendary Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, the Jackpine Gypsies Motorcycle Club. Eddie and his family gave their all to building the club and the Rally. Eddie’s dedication to the club and Rally, coupled with his full time job of operating a bus, took its toll on the time available to ride his motorcycle. Eddie solved this problem by building a rack on the bus for his Gold Wing so he could ride to Sturgis and back on his layovers. Longtime Jackpine Gypsy member and friend Bob Moore remembers Eddie and his family as devoted members, always there when the work had to be done.
