PETER FONDA
Hall of Fame Inductee
In the late 1960's Peter Fonda sat down and wrote a simple story about two men, two motorcycles and a ride across America. Who could have known that Easy Rider was destined to become a cult classic. During a tumultuous time in America the film gave a generation an anti-hero, and it continues to move people as few other films can. For motorcyclists, Easy Rider is an affirmation of the freedom of the road. Peter Fonda is still acting and writing today, but more importantly, he is still riding. In his spare time Peter is a dedicated humanitarian and helps to raise funds for worthy causes. He is a staunch supporter of the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum and believes strongly in our mission. Often times he can be seen frequenting the annual Hall of Fame Induction Breakfast, always followed by a crowd of loyal fans.
