The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame is proud to announce the opening of its newest exhibit: "My First Rider." The exhibit features motorcycles many riders will recognize as that first motorcycle they ever rode. In addition, the exhibit features stories by people from all over the country detailing the first time they climbed on a motorcycle.

Tigra Tsujikawa Brought on as Sturgis Museum Marketing and Development Director

The Sturgis Museum & Hall Of Fame board of directors is proud to announce the appointment of industry veteran Tigra Tsujikawa as Marketing & Development Director. Just in time for the annual motorcycle rally in the Black Hills, the hiring of Tsujikawa is part of the museum's stated mission to "honor the ride and build the legacy" of the Sturgis Rally.

Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Seeks Development Director

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame is seeking a Director of Development to join the team of professionals at the museum.  This individual will be an integral part of making sure the museum is not only sustained, but expanded.  “As we seek to grow the museum, we’ve recognized the need for a person who is focused on the future,” said Dave Davis, Sturgis Motorcycle Museum Board President.  “The board is excited about the results of a recent feasibility study in which our supporters overwhelmingly encouraged us to move forward with a large-scale building project and other initiatives.  We recognize that the current staff is just not able to handle all of the additional duties this will entail.”

Sturgis Motorcycle Museum on Antiques Roadshow

The Sturgis Motorcycle Museum was one of three chosen locations for an Antiques Roadshow segment for the upcoming shows taped in Rapid City, South Dakota.  Episode #1714, the second hour from Rapid City, features a segment on motorcycle toys that was taped while Roadshow was in the Black Hills. This segment will premiere on Public Television stations nationwide on Monday, April 29th at 8pm/7pm Central.
