Laura Klock

A self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur, Laura Klock has consistently broken barriers in motorcycling, business, and philanthropy. Growing up in Wisconsin with a love for dirt bikes and cars, Laura’s journey led her to Mitchell, South Dakota, where she became a vital force at Klock Werks and beyond.
Laura made history by piloting the first "World’s Fastest Bagger," a modified Harley-Davidson Road Glide that earned an AMA National Land Speed Record at the Bonneville Salt Flats. Together with her daughters Erika and Karlee, she formed the first mother-daughter-daughter trio to simultaneously hold land speed records—a story told in the documentary Klocked: Women with Horsepower.
Laura’s impact reaches far beyond racing. She is the President and Founder of Helping with Horsepower, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and youth through motorcycle rebuild programs and personal development projects. The Bike Rebuild Program has raised significant funds and changed lives across multiple states.
An active advocate for women in motorcycling, Laura is a founding member of Sturgis Buffalo Chip Biker Belles, a 15-year celebration of women riders and their impact on the industry. She has also served as a Motorcycle Safety Instructor for a decade, taught courses for the state of South Dakota, and continues inspiring others through business mentorship, volunteer work, and speaking engagements.
Today, Laura is a proud grandmother, sidecar enthusiast, co-owner of Farm Life Creamery, and in 2023, was honored as the Grand Marshal of the 83rd Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Her story is a shining example of how passion, perseverance, and a commitment to giving back can lead to an extraordinary legacy.
